I don't think you are allowed to put any food stuffs in the container. Quarantine rules are very strict, please make sure that when you come through the airport you don't have any food stuffs on you not even sweeties. My son was carrying a plastic bag and the sniffer dog stopped and we were asked alot of questions, he had had some toffees in it on the plane and it was empty. It was really quite stressful at the time because you feel guilty even if you haven't done anything.

      Hi T & Family

As my hubby says in previous post you can get Helmans over here. Just had a look in our cupboard at the gravy we use which is called Gravox now im no expert in wheat & gluten intolerance but on the tin it says gluten: not detected. Hope this helps & it does taste good.

You can get Bisto here too (not seen the granuels). Helaine sent my children some quavers and monster munch by post - these were opened by quarantine although allowed through. I know they don't let milk products through (not sure if it's dairy and wouldn't let the mayo 'cos of eggs). They're very strict.

I think its milk and meat products they stop and most other stuff is ok as long as you declare it.I use gravox or the woolys home brand and they are ok ,,ive had no complaints, you do find alternatives to most things easily and woolys have a section of gluten free products ,,

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place...
If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...
