mobile phones

what band will mobiles work on because ive read that AUS are on GSM 900/1800 that is the same as ours! im ok with quad but will my girlfriends tri and there families dual band work out there with an australian sim?

and... even better, with most contracts and pre-paid, txts cost the same to UK as you would pay to someone else within Oz!

Thats a good point ... Check out the pre paid's . My wifes bill has dropped from about $120/ month to about $20/ month just by swapping over to pre paid , and having the same usage .

yeh the only problem is t mobile will not let me exchange my 50 quid a month phone bill her so iv got to pay 750 quid to get out of it!!!!
