Does a dvd camcorder work out there???

If you mean a camcorder that records on to a blank DVD , then yes it will work here. assuming you are buying a camcorder in UK or europe.

you will just need a standard australian tavel mains adapter to charge it. Disks should work fine in a oz dvd player that will play recordable DVD disks.
