But the main deciding factor is the paediatric health care, our 3 year old son has bilateral femoral anteversion, where his femur bones are twisted which causes his feet to twist so he is unsteady on his legs. In the uk he is under investigation with specialist doctors and has new special shoes regularly. Can anyone advise me as to how good their system is? Quoll Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 It's not a matter of whether or not you can pay it's more whether the assessment is that his care /support will cost the Australian tax payer over a certain amount. You would be best to consult one of the agents who specialise in medical conditions and visa applications (George Lombard or Peter Bollard are generally mentioned in this regard). ali Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 I'm not sure what you mean about how good the system is, but there are childrens hospitals where you would be able to be referred to a specialist.
