I'm on the working holiday visa. does anyone have any recommendations for a cheaper dentist or is that about average here? Very expensive compared to the UK I'm not sure actually that £75 for a filling is dear. As you pay it out of your taxed income, so UK tax can be 45%, or certainly 40%, National Insurance is 12%, VAT chugs along at 20%, you have a TV Licence Fee, dearer petrol, and then good old death duty as well.
