WOW! Well good luck with the move. I hope it is everything that you want it to be. My hubby and I are moving to Melbourne in 4 weeks time and are so excited. Whereabouts are you guys moving to? Got accommodation sorted at the other end. Hope you have a safe journey :)

O/H has been for 10 days last year, we were all going in october but the hike in prices here is eating into our savings pretty rapidly so may not be having a rekkie and just going for it.

Hi we have never been to oz. We have family in perth so will be staying with them. Going because we dont want to sit here in years to come and say if only and what if, when its too late. We got nothing to loose if its not for us then we will come back to uk but we are not planning to. Oz is somewhere we have both wanted to emigrate and felt its best doing it now while the kids are still young.

Wink

Hi there

I'm 24 and my boyfriend is 27 we have a 9 week old son and we have never been to oz but have been thinking about moving for a few years now.. we have put it off until now as I wanted to qualify as a nurse before applying but the way things are going the sooner the better in our opinion.
I have had numerous debates with friends about this they don't understand how we can move to another country without visiting it, but if you were moving from the north of england to the south would you go on holiday there first - no...so dont worry about it take the plunge as you have to rent first in oz if you dont like the place you go just move again...thats wot we plan to do!!!!!!!
