hi ! we have decided to go for the 475 visa as i have an employer that may sponsor me but wondered when i am able to apply for a permanent residency visa . do i have to wait a set period? i have tried to wade through the info on the immigration site but am still not clear?
Can you start a 175 visa just before you leave and is that legitimate to do?

457 visa and 175 visa . perth,paediatric nurse,registration wa nursing august 08 applied visa 457 sept 08 and 175acpos oct o8,medicals booked oct 08, CO 8 october!!VISA GRANTED 26/11/08!!!
I will be interested in the replies to this querie too.
As far as i know if you are on the modl list you can also apply for the 175 and have the two applications running together...i may be wrong but i'm sure someone will put us right.
If you can get the visa in your own right i'm sure you can...like i said i might be completey wrong on this.
