New to AU

Hi all,
We are family of 4 (2 toddlers ages 4 months and 19 months).
We got a job offer to move to Australia (Sydney).
We don't know much about AU, never been there.
It would be great if someone can help us with some info. About house renting prices (we looking for 3 beds house)
Child care prices, and in general cost of living.
We don't know how much money we need to earn for a week, in order to live in the same standard

Have a look at the report on this web site and you will see that Sydney is the most expensive place to live. Rents and housing are more expensive than other cities.

I originally lived in Sydney many many moons ago and moved to Melbourne as it was cheaper but then again wages are different also depending where you live.
