Anyone else with doubts!!!!

Hi everyone, just wondered if any of you guys are experiencing the same ups aund downs as us!! We have the visa and are looking at moving to Brisbane at the end of the year.
Everything seemed to be going along fine - parents told, visits to oz X2!!, house up for sale and it seemed a matter of time until we were booking flights and off.
This week tho we feel like maybe just staying here and giving it some more time. Is it that bad here? and I know for certain oz is not the land of milk and honey! Is it really worth all the upheaval and family emotions?

Anyone else in the same boat? Interested to hear.

We havent got our visa yet, but i have those feelings. I think about the day i leave my mum behind and wonder if i will be able to.

I think it must be normal, i think if we didnt have doubts about leaving everyone and everything we've ever known behind, we would be very foolish people with huge rose tinted glasses!!

No....it's not bad in the UK. it is just blown out of all proportion by the British media.
You have visited twice so you are not going blind.
I honestly think most people have second thoughts when the time comes around and it is a big move in your lives.........................but......don't be a ....."what if".

I feel the same way as you. We are hopefully heading back to Perth this year, when our house sells, after being back in Scotland for nearly 2 years. we lived in Perth for a year and loved it there. I know that i preferred living in Oz but feel so torn about leaving my mum and sister. If I please my mum and sister I will be letting my husband and children down so i feel like piggy in the middle!! One moment I think I could live here and feel disappointed about not living in Oz but the next moment I feel like I can't wait to get back to Perth!! So every night I look at poms in oz and drink wine to ease the stress!!

I would even welcome a time waster at the moment!!, we have had no viewers in 3 weeks. I'm going to start dragging people off the street!

Thanks for your views guys, I see were not alone.
I think our doubts have arisen with falling house prices, unable to sell house(3 months 3 viewers 0 offers) and the dire exchange rate. everything seems to be stacked against it.
