hi used this site for a while and its very usefull,we are in the early stages of emigrating and are going on a student visa,i have been given a list of courses but are mostly for men,eg,bricklaying,engineering does any one have any idea where i could get imformation on college courses as my case officer says i can look for some others and she would see if they would be suitable. thanks for any help given.

Hi,
You could try thisisaustralia website. We used Laura and they only charged us about 400.00 pound i think.Don't pay more than that as the agents get commission from the college/Tafe. My husband is doing Bricklaying. I do know you can do hairdressing 1 year and the 2nd year something related ie beauty or business studies. Do you also realise that if you do not have a family sponsor and are over a certain age..say 40 I think you will not have enough points at the end of the 2 years so will have to do an extra year to gain your extra 10 points that you will be short. The extra year is a graduate visa but you do not pay school fees for you children on that visa although you do have to have further medicals and pay to go onto that visa,
