Learning Disabilities - Coffs Harbour

Hi, its been a while since I visited but need all the help anyone can give me!
I want to move to Coffs Harbour with my 3 children and 2 friends and child. I'm a Registered Learning Disability Nurse and are in the process of getting registered with NSW Nursing Board. My 2 friends, who are both nurses have both secured jobs through an agency, however, I'm finding it more difficult to find employment in the area. Can anyone in the area please point me in the right direction of where I could look for suitable jobs etc, ie agencies, organisations etc etc. It doesn't necessarily have to be in nursing as long as my skills could be matched and I can get over there!

I'm not in nursing but must say that I had never heard of Learning Disability nurses in Aus. We definitely have mental health nurses but that isnt what you were after. I dont know but you could possibly think of trying the school system - I know our special schools have nurses because of the high physical care needs of the kids. Other than that, I know that support agencies have carers for people with disabilities but they dont get anything like nurse pay and arent as well trained, obviously. Good luck with it!
