Thanks for all your replies. By what you all say he should have no problems with his medical so I will stop worrying about them so thanks again. Julie x
My little boy was born with bilateral club foot and is wearing the boots at night now. Are you using the Markells? We've just started buying the Mitchells. Expensive but so worth the money.
I doubt very much it will affect the medical, but it is something we have questioned too. Personally, from what I have gathered and been informed, they seem to be more interested in things that are likely to cost a lot of money in the long run. Serious heart probs, psychological issues, etc.
I am in Tonbridge. Where did your son go for treatment? Did you have Ponsetti?
At our medicals they just listened to the childrens chests and checked their eyes, ears. Although, fortunately not an ongoing issue our youngest was critically ill just after he was born and needed lots of scans and tests to check for permanent health problems which luckily there are none, unless being a cheeky monkey counts. We just had to get a copy of all his medical notes/scans from the doctors. they sent them off and didn't charge for them and lucky us, we gained our PR visa last June.
I think as Kate said, they are more likely to be interested in long term health problems with high treatment costs.
