short term rentals?

Hi all,
This is my first post although Liz has entered the fray once or twice!

I am looking for advice regarding short term rentals - we are looking at moving over in July to the Rockingham/Peel area which includes Mandurah and the surrounding area outside Perth. Obviously we will need somewhere to stay in order to get our bearings and then find somewhere more permanant to rent can anyone suggest anywhere relatively low cost, even willing to consider a caravan park if needs be! but really just need to know where to start looking and what has worked or not for other people

Ps must be near a beach as liz will be working initially whilst I check out the sites

We used Holiday Lettings and Rentals, Apartments and Villas, Private Accommodation to Rent Worldwide when we first came over in March. We had a holiday home in Secret Harbour for a month. They can be a bit pricey but its nice to have a 'home from home' when you first get here
