Smile Any advice will do!

Hi everyone, getting a bit nervous now as we should get our visas in about 7 weeks and then it will all become very real!!! My husband is a Ceramic tiler and we have 2 children 6 & 3, we live in a small town in central Scotland and are looking to emigrate to Perth. Just wondered what people thought of Carramar and Tapping and if there is a real need for Tilers in Western Australia. Looking to arrive in Australia at the end of June and have 2 weeks in a hotel to break us in gently and give us a chance to look about and organise a rental property, as I said any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Chickidee,

I don't really know much about the area's that your thinking of moving too. There is plenty of work here for tilers. My brother is a tiler and he is run of his feet. We live south of the river but there is so much happening in Perth I think you won't have a problem. I am sure you will all settle very well I have been back here for 7 months now and loving it.
Regards
Paula

A really lovely guy called Bobcat posts on here, he lives in Carramar and absolutely loves it, he reccommended Tapping to us, as a great area to buy.

Hi Kaye

I must be cross eyed today! At first glance I read your post as. " A lovely guy called Polecat bobs on here...."

Cheers

Gill

Carramar, nice suburb just to the North East of Joondalup.
Others will know ore than me. I've only visited it briefly.
All service trades seem to be hard to get hold of, so Tilers the same I guess..
