Hernia!

Hello all,

Clyde just home form Docs having had hernia diagnosed. He will go under the knife in the next 2-4 months.

My question is will this cause troubles when we go for our medicals - assuming it has all been fixed by then or in the process of being fixed?

Hiya

I think it should be OK - I also have a hernia which will need to be repaired and I made this enquiry a while back and was told that as long as it is repaired and you take all relevant paperwork to the panel doc when you have your meds it shouldn't cause a problem. Here's hoping that's the case for both of us!!

Ah, thanks for that. Had tried a search on previous threads but didnt see any - must be me!

Anyhow, v grateful for reply and like you say, hopefullly good news.

I had a Hernia opp, in july and went for the medicals in september, doc said small ops are not a problem, i passed with flying colours
