My brother and his wife are in the police and last year they went through the process to join South Australian Police. They emmigrate week on Monday!!!

On the internet put in SAPOL and it will bring up sites for South Australian Police Force. There is a careers link.

I've a feeling that the WA police may be recruiting as well at the mo. I'd suggest trying the police forces for each of the individual States plus have a look at the Australian Federal Police wwebsite as well, perhaps.

You're right Gill, WA did a big recruitment drive last year in the UK for police officers - and even though there isn't a big drive on at the moment - i really don't think they'd turn their noses up to experienced officers

Family member works for South Australia police and their next big recruitment drive - as she understands - will be in March 08! It's a possible in - if you decide you dont like SA once there you can always look to transfer!!

Were infomred a month or so about that but they have stopped now and not recruiting again until 09/10... any other tips/

hey, maybe try going to one of the emmigrate expo's.

Emigrate shows - starting a new life abroad

Theres usually loads of info and good contacts there.
