Bricklayers Wages is it worth us coming over

Hi All

Well I thought I put this down in writing, (it has beeen on my mind for about a month now) OH is a bricklayer, and I have been reading some threads, about bricklayers, and it has got me worried about the wages they are on. Some people say that they are on good money and others say there are on sh#t money, don't know who to trust???.We are looking to move to the Sunshine/Gold Coast and Brisbane. We have to go where the work is. Any help would be great.

Its not a case of who you can TRUST as you put it,
some people are on half decent wages and others through no fault of their own are on **** money,
instead of wanting to trust people wait till you get here and then decide if the wages are enough for you to live on or not,
different jobs pay different wages so it depends where your hubby ends up working
only you and your family can decide whether to take the gamble and move here,its your choice
but you definately WONT make as much money here as in the uk
