Job Application.. My minds gone blank

Hi Guy's,

I had a discussion with a lady in our HR department up at Avon Head Office, yesterday regarding my transfer to OZ.

She has asked me to put som documents together to send to HR over there, I have attached my C.V and my achievements but wanted to add a little bit about myself and why I love working for Avon.

I can think about all the obvious stuff i.e Bonus, Trips etc but I can't think of anything to say about me!

What would you be looking for in a person if you were an employer looking for good staff?

If I were doing this for someone else I wouldn't have a problem, but at the moment the words won't form in my head.

Thanks

April

If I was looking for staff especially for working in this kind of industry, i would be looking for someone who can have a laugh, completely at ease with customers and their needs, who genuinely loved the product and could talk about it, someone who could work well with others and make new people feel comfortable when they start.

I think if i'm write you have children tell them you love its family friendly ethos and that the products look after every aspect of a woman of todays life, the worker, the mother, the whore in the bedroom (well not quite) the relaxed woman in the bath you get the picture.

good luck

Hey Wardy

Thanks for that, you made me laugh! How do you know all my Avon Reps so well?

It is really difficult trying to big yourself up. If I were in an interview I would Bullsh1t my way through!

I've done the job for nearly four years, but as I said my mind is blank!

Good point about the family, I have noted that as one of my interests on my CV, but I'll add it to my letter.

Cheers
April
