Shipping TVs

Hello

I am moving to Sydney next week and my personal items will be sent the week after. I have 2 Sony TVs (not plasma or lcd). One is 21" and the other is 28" widescreen. I've been told they will work out in Australia (after you put a plug adapter on electrical items) but could someone confirm this?

Tim, the UK uses PAL I and Oz uses PAL H so i don't think it will.

From what i understand your tv will be ok as the PAL B,G,D,H and I all run on a 625 line system at 50 fields per second, if your really not sure phone sony uk up and they will help you, but all the packers/ removals people ship them out, where they asked for a CFC cert if i wanted to take my fridge

the way I understand it is that they will obviously work with DVD etc but they don't work with terrestrial broadcast. Not sure about sky though.
