Some insurance companies will honour your no claim without you providing any proof. I am with the RACV and they didn't want any proof, they said 'We trust your word!'
OH is insured with budget (yes 2 different companies cos it worked out cheaper that way!) and they required proof of no claims within 14 days or the policy would be changed and he'd be charged more.
So, yes, it is worth bringing your proof of no claims (if you are with tesco insurance start asking now as it is a lengthy process to get anything out of them!).
