House Sale - some people so cheeky!

Hey....

We are about to put our house on the market....we have one interest in it already a guy who knocked on our door last summer and asked if we were selling and gave us his card..at that point we had not desided 100% that we wanted to move, now we know its what we want we have phoned him (he left a card) and to our amazment he is saying he is still very interested (fingers crossed)

I am dreading this part of starting our new life as, with what we see and hear the market is soooo slow and we don't want to give our house away but at the same time don't want it to take months even into years to sell....And also untill we have sold the house we can't start even the visa applicatrion.

You are quite right about not taking it off the market while they sell theirs, they have no right to ask that as quite simply they may not be able to sell theirs and you may miss a better offer in the meantime.
Our present buyers wanted us to take it off the market whilst 'they thought about it!!!' and got the hump when we said no - bl**dy nerve specially as it took them 6 wks to think aaarrrghhh!
