AAARGH house sale

The Buyer we had has disappeared despite them already selling their house, moving in to rented and stating they will wait (which they have already done for 4 months).; estate agent cannot get in touch with them so have decided to put back on market, but now wondering if should/could rent given current market. Has anyone done this and what amount of cash have people had to take to cover things. We will get 3 months free accomodation to start with from my employer.

I also found out that in Vic don't have to pay the $4500 school fees.

Hi chrissy , we have been thinking the same thing, but really need the money from house sale for oz , sorry to here what has happened its so annoying and cruel hope you find a buyer soon , we have some investers intrested in ares there coming out at weekend , they will proberly want it for next to nothing . i have reduced house twice wont do it again ... hope things get sorted take care ... karen

Well we weren't prepared to reduce the price, they had already made and agreed a price. Just trying to work out figures. After all the worry of getting a visa and them pestering us to sell up they now go and drop out.

We are in the same boat, go in a week and half to oz and not a sniff on the house...we are leaving it with estate agents. not happy about it as we really need the money to buy another property so means we will have to rent longer than we planned.....OH says if not sold in the next three months will look at renting...Good luck everyone with house sales...Remeber, It comes to he who waits!................eventually....!!!!!!!!

Thanks for that, are you studying or working at the University does OH have a job. We are now sat here thinking how we can raise the funds to go and still rent
