Angry King and Wilson - removals / poor service!

Again, it seems like another moan from Dannyboy, but this time I think it's a valid one.

King and Wilson in Melbourne are soooo poooor at customer service, I find it strange that they ever have customers.

We used PSS in the UK in July this year to ship our stuff over to Melbourne, the guys that did it were great, on time, took care of everything, explained everything and I was so happy as I thought that this but may be the most stressful thing but it wasn't.

We arrived in Melbourne in Sept, thinking the boat will be docking around 19 Oct as PSS suggested it would. PSS were right it did dock on that date, so we rang King and Wilson (the Australian handlers), they were aware of the ship docking but had decided not to call us or even send the customs forms out to us. After numerous phone calls to them asking what was happening (they never ring back as the person who is dealing with it is "out at the moment"), they then sent us the customs forms to be signed (after 4 weeks) and then also want us to pay for storage with customs! If it wasn't for us chasing them to tell them the boat had docked they would never had rung us! We emailed the forms back to them (as requested), rang tham again to check if they had them, same as normal, no return phone call, so we chased PSS, who then returned our email next day and had escalted to King and Wilson - we then had a phone call from them (our 1st!!) saying sorry and they had a problem with our customs forms and they would need to be resent. So they had the forms and then decided they were wrong (as they were emailed the ink wasn't clear enough so they wanted them faxed - if they wanted them faxed I would have done it the first time!!), but again they decided not to contact us to tell us they were incorrect until PSS got involved!

I'm now again currently trying to get hold of them to find out if the forms are correct and an eta date for all our stuff.

In my experience - don't us King and Wilson - rubbish - utter rubbish. No customer service at all.....

Avoid like the plague.

Shame really as I was very impressed with PSS, it's a shame the ozzie end has let their service down.

I'm now having nightmares that all our stuff is getting smashed up by some dock worker with a tash cos I've had a go at them......

Not Happy

D

lol - quite possibly danny boy but you'll be forgiven, we've all had a touch of madness at one time during the whole process. I think you're post does highlight though that the stress doesn't end once you arrive in Oz - good job wine is cheap!

Ali

p.s. glad you've got all your stuff!
