Lost TRA

Need some help please.Heading to Brisbane in Jan but i have lost my copy of my TRA,i can not find it anywhere,i would say the dog ate it but we dont have a dog. I have a 136 skilled visa. Do i need my TRA in Australia?and if so does anyone know how i can get another copy. Thanks.

Hi Greg

Did you use an agent to get the TRA? As they would probably help you out! If not your would probably have to contact the TRA people in Australia and ask for a copy of it. I wouldn't of thought it would be a problem or I hope its not for you. Not sure if you need to show it in Australia but after all the hard work of getting it, I for sure would get a copy.

contact them on /tra national enquiry line /0061261217456 / 9 hrs ahead
or email traenquiries@dewr.gov.au

We came on a 136 and havnt needed a copy of our TRA ,lucky really cause i dont know where it is unless our agent kept it.I wouldnt worry too much ,it hasnt affected anything here.

Hi mate,
I dont know wether or not you need to take the TRA form with you when you go, but I do know that you can get a replacement. I applied and got my TRA back in 2000, lost it and applied for another copy recently when my family and I decided we definately want to go.
They do stress that if you lose it again, it will be a problem, any way, try this address..
