I wonder if anyone can help me please, we are in the process of applying for a student visa for myself to study in Perth. I will be coming with oh and two kids who will be 16 & 10 when the course starts. Oh is a skiled and coded welder but also getting on in years hence us coming on a student visa. we have been told by a lot of people he will have no problem getting work and he will be able to gain sponsor on a 457 visa when we get there. Does anyone know if this is possible and he will be able to change to a 457 visa easily, as then he will be able to work full time and then we will not have to pay all kids school fees as well.
