Riding in Sydney

Hi all,
just wondered if anyone can recommend any decent horse riding facilities in/out side of sydney. My family are spending 14 days in Sydney in December and I have promised my 7 year old we could go riding. We both ride reguarly at home and fancied a trek out somewhere. I have already looked at the Cent. park stables and could not believe how expensive they are!

. So if anyone can recommend somewhere give or take an hour or so' drive away I would be most grateful. Thanks.

I don't know anything meaningful about riding, and I don't know NSW either.

However, I've just done a search on Google Australia for you.

There seem to be a few stables to choose from within easy-ish reach of Sydney.
