Hi,

I may not be too much help, but I know that children are accepted in Kindergarten from 2 years old in Queensland and that places are often booked up well in advance, I'm sure I read somewhere recently that no funding is offered until they are much older, but I can't remember where I read it, hoping someone else can confirm as my son will be two next year and looking for similar myself! Where are you heading for in Queensland? we're looking around the Robina area ourselves.

I dont think there is funding like you recieve in the uk but centrelink are a bit more generous than their UK equivalents,(depending on visa class),my daughter is 3 nearly 4 and attends private kindy 3 days a week ,the set fees are $47 per day but with centrelinks help we actually pay just over $30 per WEEK,,hope this helps a bit
