Selling vechiles in the UK

has anyone else had the trouble trying to sell there cars/bikes in the UK? I have tryed to sell my 2007reg 125 yamaha xmax scooter here in london bought it for 3650 installed a alarm system and now people wont pay more than 2000 for it ! what a joke !!!!

How are you trying to sell it? I sold my car at the end of last year, I tried Autotrader and ended up with a load of agency calls. I then put it on Ebay and it sold within about 4 days for spot on what I wanted.

Worth a try, it's not expensive to put it on either.

Paul left his diesel estate for me to run around in..Was gonna put it in auction but have had 2 people knock on my door wanting to buy it...I have been really lucky 'casue the guy that is buying it doesnt want it till the day before I go..Everything is going so smoothly for us I cant quite believe it...I keep waiting for something to go wrong but it hasnt as yet...touch wood

Selling my car before we left is a very sore point! I had a 2 1/2 year old car which I loved and would have shipped over here had the cost not been exhorbitant! Anyway, a neighbour drove me mad for the car saying they wanted it and kept begging me not to sell it to anyone else and we had arranged for them to pay the balance of the money at the end of my last week there as I wanted the car as long as possible. At the last minute the cowardly so and so's left a note through the door saying they couldn't find the rest of the money which left me completely in the lurch.......I was LIVID! In the end I had to leave the car at my parents and spend a fortune on advertising and they had to deal with the sale for me...and I got a lot less than I had hoped for......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ebay for us too, put M's little run around on there yesterday and already got a bid on it. Everything that doesnt move has or is on ebay so M better watch out if he sits around for too long
