Worst week so far........

Have just had the most horrible week........

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the packers were in causing chaos in the house...
On Wednesday I had to say Goodbye to my brother.....
On Thursday I had to say Goodbye to my Mum and Auntie (realistically probably the last time I will see my 87 year old Auntie).....
On Friday I had to leave our family home and pass the keys to the new owners....
On Saturday I had to say Goodbye to more close friends....

Still one more week of tears and Goodbyes to go until we fly out next Sunday however, despite the sadness (and doubts that have now started to creep in) I am still looking forward to our new life in Sydney. Just wish I could fast forward to next Sunday without the days in between!!

Rings a few bells from here.

We got the VISA on a thursday
went to see the Yorkshire side of the family on the Friday
Left Yorkshire on the Sunday after a weekend of tears and goodbyes
saw my work mates on Monday
Had tuesday off!
Had goodbye party on wednesday
said goodbye to best mate, my nanna (I didnt see her again), my aunt , uncle and three young cousins and my husbands kids
went to my parents on the friday
left there on the sunday after goodbyes to them and my brother and his fiancee
Flew to Brissie on the Monday!

My little brother drove all the way from Cambridgeshire to Essex on the M11 side by side with my car and didnt leave us until he turned off to go home and we carried on to London Heathrow!!

I know that it doesnt seem like it now but hell, it can only get better! Once you are on the plane your new life starts. You will have days where you wanna laugh, cry, scream! Enjoy the good bits, work through the hard parts and it`ll all be good. OH and me been here 2 1/2 years and LUVIN`IT!!!!!

Sally hun its all happened sp fast hasnt it. Everything will work out. We have our first set of goodbyes and dispite still having no visa have prov booked flights for 15th Aug Shippers 30th July and keeping fingers crossed.

Good luck to you, can only imagine how hard it must be, you spend 2 years wishing the time away so you can just get on that plane and then all of a sudden you have got a week left, very scary

Have to agree with you on this thread....Its getting tougher everyday, not a day goes bye where i dont cry now...I have just spent the best weekend with my sis and now have come down to earth with a huge bump..Found out this week also that my 86 yr old Nan will now not be coming over to Oz at christmas with my parents..My nan is my guardian angel, always has been..oh gonna shut up...
it really really is the toughest thing isnt it...

We fly on 5th August and havn't had any goodbyes yet, but even so I still find I'm welling up nearly every day at the moment! Dread to think what I'll be like when the time comes!!
