Medicals in Newcastle

Hi,

we are waiting for our police checks and have just read that there is quite a long waiting list for medicals as some docs only do them certain months of the year. Anyone any ideas of the names of the docs surgeries in Newcastle upon Tyne and should we book them now to be on the safe side. Naive as I may be I thought Id call up one day for appt and get appt the next!!!!

We had to wait 2 weeks before we could have our meds we had ours done in cambridge,we got our visas 4 weeks later. good luck to you with yours.

We went to doc in carlisle becuase he was recomended by someone who is now in adelaide. He was good with kids and I would also recomend him too, sorry I cannot remember his name, but all the approved docs are on a list, if you have not got a list enquire about it as you must use a doc that has been validated by oz imigration

We went to Newcastle Clinic in Jesmond for our xrays, and Denton Turret Surgery for kids meds. I found the meds to be expensive so might be worth shopping around. I think Middlesborough was cheapest in this area for medicals but as it was only for the kids and not us (we dont require them on temp visa) we decided just to go there. We waited nearly 3 weeks for appointment for the medicals.
