Cool North or South of Brisbane ?

Hi all

I Know it's a personnel thing, but where is the best area to move to?
North or South of Brisbane, we've been looking at the northern suburbs but you read so many conflicting resplies - we have two kids(4 & 7) I am a bricklayer and my wife is a care worker.
So many questions and you never know if the answers are right for you or not!

Makes no difference at all.
Concentrate on choosing suburb by suburb. Prices will tell you which are which on the whole. Estate agents will advise you well but only within their range of suburbs of course.
The smartest thing to do is don't buy for, say?, six months or until you've sussed the places.
