Question Any Teachers out there.. Help!!!!!
We have our meds booked for Tuesday (we had to wait 6 weeks for this appointment coz they are soooo busy!) and my darling son has only just told me that he has the 2nd part of his Art GCSE exam that day.........
The school is closed 2morrow for an INSET day, so I cant speak to anyone till Monday. Does anyone know how tricky it is, to retake/reset this exam... would it be possible?
I dont want him to loose out on this qualification, but then again dont want to have to wait any blimming longer for another medical to be done........ HELP !!!!!!!

Hi SallyAnn

I've just asked my daughter as she had her Art exam last week and she doesnt think he would be allowed to re-do it another time. She said he would be able to leave early if he'd finished.
Maybe someone else will have more info.

Have you rang the Medical Centre to see if they could fit him in another time next week. Maybe if he's on his own they will be able to fit him in.

Ive calmed down a bit now, panic over......!!!!!! My patience, mood swings and stress levels are a bit irratic at the moment (and NO , its not the "menopause" before you ask!!!!)
Its this visa business, it makes you go mad !!!!
Ive decided.....'ll let him take his exam, and then hopefully just coz it's him alone, the doctors might be able to fit him in soooon. Hey... whats another week or three on the scale of things.
Just when you think you can handle all this waiting....... !!!

Get the Art exam out of the way and remember that meds are done as private patients so you should be calling the shots about timings! They cost enough!!!

Just had a bit of luck..........
I rang the school this morning girls (which is closed for Teacher Training) to leave a message and beleive it or not...... the head of Art answered the phone, as she was preparing all the exam stuff!!! They are running the same exam on Friday for another class and they can fit him in...... WAHEEEYYY!!!!!! Now we can all go for our Meds together, and no more extra waiting time !!!!!!!!!
