Well thats my opinion so far, its only been 2 weeks since my hubby left and its a lot tougher than I thought it would be. Maybe its because I have to deal with our house sale by myself and he has to deal with getting a rental and setting up by himself but I tell you its the most stressful thing I've encountered so far in my life.
This opinion may change in a few weeks, (I'm waiting on a written offer for our house and smoking 20 a day) but my advice would be to really really seriously think about it before you do it. Also it has been a really lonely time for him (he's resorted to watching Big Brother!!!) whilst I have still got to deal with all our relatives who dont want us to go
70 days and counting.

I can quite imagine how stressed you are, expecially to have to deal with the relatives alone. We had talked about if we have a problem with the house sale OH may have to go on ahead as we are going on a 457 and you have to go to the job asap after the visa is issued. But having 2 children under 3 Im not sure how on earth I could cope with everything alone, he would be going over to family so would probably have a ball hehe.
I think Jo is going to be in the same boat as you soon and Paul is going on ahead hopefully you will be able to get some suppose from people going through the same things.
Awwwwwwwww Morven it must be horrible, we could possibly be in same boat as you lot as i now have a sponsorship and if everything goes through and visa approved before house sell and goes through then i will have to go first asap as with sposorship 457 visa, the job will be waiting for me which is why it gets processed a lot quicker, but it would not be of a choice of our own or we would all go together, so it will be me sorting rental etc.
Keep your chin up and think you have all us good buddies on here and we all all thinking of you hun so you not aon your own

Thank youuuuuuuuuuuu that really made me laugh
Thanks also everyone for your positive words, they really do made a difference. Jo, sounds like you are a very organised lady, wish I was, and I'm glad that your OH has family do go to, it really will make a difference. At least you've all got warnings now, I had my airy fairy head on la la la everything will be fine and don't get me wrong it will be fine and we'll all be together soon but it just hit me the other day how mad the whole thing is, and how better prepared we could have been.
Anyway I'm away out to buy a big box of red wine Ali
