I am emigrating to Meblourne very soon and wondered what the internet was like down under. I am used to BT Broadband which is very good and hoped they would have something similar for fast internet access and to make calls through Skype or MSN ?

Anyone ???

you can use skype & msn here in oz - theres loads of internet providers the main one is the biggie like BT called Telestra

We had AOL in the uk and have Bigpond here ,its good and quicker ,,hope this helps

We use Bigpong wireless broadband. It's good and fast mostly it used to kick out a LOT though. We'd have to restart the modem and everything heaps.

It drove me Crazy.....Goofy is close enough. =p
