Documents Old Wage Slips etc

I am emigrating to Melbourne very shortly and wondered if it was worthwhile bringing over a couple of briefcases containing old wage slips/bills etc.

From what I gather about Australia you have to build up a credit rating so is it reallty worthwhile bringing all this paperwork with us ?

Any ideas ?

yep bring a few all ways handy to prove that you was a good payer if you after credit or similar in here in oz
