Woke up this morning with a stinking b****y cold....the first in about 4 years.
Not normally bothered by this sort of thing but we've got our Medical 2morrow. We've already had our X-rays but due to the deadline for returning all the documentation to Oz, we haven't really got the time to re-schedule.
Will this be a problem...I really do feel like s*** at the moment ?.

Morning.
Poor you
Never mind, they won't bother about a cold so don't worry. Get your OH to rub some Vic on your chest. Have a nice hot toddy and dream about the next time you have a cold you can sweat it out on the beach!!!!
Good luck tomorrow. You will be fine

Started STNI Application 01/05/05, Enineering Qualifications approved 19/01/06, STNI sponsorship Adelaide 22/2/2006 (we lost the plot for 6 months here!!!!) Visa application lodged 5/10/06, Medicals requested 16/2/07, Medicals started 28/3/07, Police Checks sent 31/3/07. Meds sent 17/05/07, VISA GRANTED 4/6/07
Looks like the season for colds and stressing out visa applicants!!!
My meds were on Thurs and I had a rotten cold in the run up to it. This caused no problems, the doctor didn't even comment upon the rather disgusting cough I had - so much for being a doctor, I'd have prescribed myself something LOL.
Good luck tomorrow and don't worry about the cold.

This is probably a silly question, but my kids have always got colds or sore throats. I was hoping better weather in Oz might make a difference. Has anyone out there noticed with their kids or am I being over optimistic
Graham and Trudy - I believe the hot weather is good (or bad I suppose) for colds in the main but it does depend where you are as hayfever/very humid weather etc can cause it's own, different health problems!
