Question Getting started on the research

Wanting to move to Queensland. Ive briefly used this site before but never got round to filling out a visa eligibility form that was on here. Not sure if its still on here. Just want to generally find out if i have a chance. I know i can get points for age, language, education etc. And have just got into a career so need to find out how much experience i need to be eligible for which visa, there are so many. Any help much appreciated, theres just so much info on the net i dont know where to start.
Thanks
Carlyc

Check out the DIMIA website for the MODL which gives you a list of occupations in demand list. If you say what your career is, then someone on here may be able to tell you how much experience you need before you can apply for the skilled visa.

job experience

Thanks for the advice i will have a look.

Im a display stylist which is in effect a visual merchandiser plus other responsibilities. Ive worked in retail for the last 6 years (shopfloor work, superviser etc) but have only just got into my recent display stylist role. Im 25 and have a degree in Textile technology and am looking to move over thee on my own. I have already been to Oz on a working holiday visa for 12 months. I just need to get some information on how my skills may match up to a similar role on the skills list and how long i need to have been in this role.

Thanks
Carly
