I was working on the NSW/Vic border , staying on a caravan park and I sent for the mrs to come up for the week end . She went for a wash one morning and looked in the mirror and then saw a huntsman on her shoulder !!!! she chucked a fit HAHA and I supposed it jumped off ? I couldn't stop laughing when she told me . To be honest its pretty rare, but you do have to watch out for Redbacks as they are pretty common and get everywhere. But they dont jump ! so your ok HAHA "MO"

You know it sort of makes me laugh the way many people are pre-occupied with snakes and spiders. I used to do farm maintainence over there and would often come in to contact with both. But the average person never sees a snake (or a wild kangaroo for that matter) But you always keep in the back of your mind that they are about. Perhaps its growing up with that knowledge that makes you used to it ? you mention Shell harbour , that is a very nice place , been there a few times. Kiama a bit further south is also lovely , But have you seen the prices !!!!! we hope to get back within the next 12 months and although the Mrs wants Perth , its the East and Country for us . "MO"

Hi Jo

I noticed you said you didnt see any in Brissy can I ask what you did see???!!
I have been trying not to think about these things (I'm petrified of cockroaches) but as the time is getting nearer for me to go, July, I've started worrying. I mean do you have to check absolutely everything?? Shoes, bed, toilet etc. etc.

Your advice would be much obliged

Morven
