Hi Batman!

I have replied to a few of these before - we used HiFX. They allow you to order at therate you want - you then get an email confirming the date it reaches that rate - you sign contract - transfer £ into their Bank Account - they receive £ - they send it to Aussie Account - you see it in Aussie Account approx 5 days later - job done - no commission - no fees!

I was wondering the same but my agent gave me advice to use HIFX.I have just sent off the initial registration forms.I rang them initially and found them very helpful which gave me confidence to use them.Hope this helps.

Hiya we opened an account with ANZ before leaving the uk and had a company called currency matters transfre any funds ,we actually still use them to send whats left of our funds ,they have been great ,the only thing you have to watch bringing it with you is you have to declare any amount over 10,000 not sure if thats GBP or $ and if its the same with a bank draft ,but after a long flight the last thing you want to do is faff around with customs, especially if you land in Brisbane as the security checks seem to last forever as it is.hope this helps
