Where to Live in Brisbane

I have got the chance to get employers sponsorship visa in order to relocate.

My place of work was going to be a place called Geebung, but we felt it to be close to the CBD.

we have been offered a new position at wynnum which is bayside. Any advice on places to live and schools.

I currently live in Devon so I am not used to to much hectic city life

Hiya

We're in Plymouth! My Brother-in-Law moved to Australia approx 3 years ago and rented in Wynnum - very nice there! He's now bought in Manly West which is just up the road from Wynnum - really good transport into city from Wynnum Train Station about 5 mins drive down the road.

We visited a couple of years ago for a few weeks and want to settle there eventually!

You have obviously never been to Brisbane..... Think small scale Plymouth and you might get near....
And sorry cant help with Bayside as I live Northside but Brisbane is really very laid back - not a very busy city at all....

Couldn't help seeing your in Pine Rivers. We (Me. OH (Brickie), 2 daughters 5 and 7) are hoping to come your way in the near future. Is it true that Albany Creek is a good place to live and work with kids? I spent so much time looking at houses and schools in the Pine Shires area on the internet its driving me mad!
