Hi Ali.. Doubt if we'll make it within the month but shouldn't be too far behind. The children break up from school on Thursday and the house sale is pootling along. As soon as that goes through, I'm a gonna :!: You must be pretty hyped up now.. Good luck with everything, I know you're well prepared :!:

keep your chin up.. at least you have Keith to give power of attourney to.. Someone asked my hubby where we were off to the other day and I nearly died when he said 'I don't know - Krista's sorting it!' He is soooo laid back, he's horizontal but, to be honest, I am more than happy sorting stuff out.. May be i'm a control freak but, with hubby's track record, I wouldn't dare leave it to him - the house would probably end up being transferred to the cat and the furniture would end up on a street in Arizona :!: :!: If you ever get to meet him, all will become clear.. I love him to bits though :!: :!: Any who, hope you get you 40kg sorted - I read a thread on British Expats which suggested emailing them and getting them to confirm that way... All the best, any who :!:

Hi Alison,

We are the other way round in that I'm staying behind with my daughter until house has completed and Darren is travelling on 11th August. Luckily the house has sold at the moment, so just keeping everything crossed that it all goes ok. Me and my daughter are hopefully travelling mid to late September - subject to the house!!!!

Good luck and I hope everything goes ok for for you.

Hi Alison,

My husband went out the middle of June and me and the kids are flying 7th August. We haven't got a buyer for our house so have decided to rent it out. Not ideal but a least we can get moving.

Where are you heading? We're going to Mackay.

All the best,

JJ

We are headed for Adelaide, best of luck with the move and sorting the house out in the future

We have had three offers of interest (same person) but they have only just put theirs up so its watch this space.

Can I join in - nearly flying this month...We go 1st August and cant bloody wait.
In answer to the baggage allowance I emailed Singapore Airlines (who we are flying with) and got them to send me an email confirming the luggage allowance.
