TRACEY & PETER is on a distinguished road
i love this site, but.

I dont seem to be getting the same info that i first required, prehaps thats because i now know the info i first required, or is it just that the sites got older and the people are not giving the info required but the if, buts, and maybes,

Im not saying that everyones thoughts are not still welcome, but, it seems that people are not as interested in giving facts, prehaps because so many people are questioning peoples ideas and experiances.

As said so many times on this site, we are all welcome, and everybody has different ideas to the way of living a good life.

I mean no disrespect to any one, but i think if someone asks a question, prehaps we should awnser there question and nothing more.

I am so confussed by what my family is doing, but belive it is the best thing we can do, if it works, it works, if it doesnt, it dosent.

Im being questioned by so many people, that i think we are all on this site together for the same reason.

It does get difficult if someone is in front of us in the progress, but we all must remember that the progress is a good thing, and Australia are only letting people in to their country if we are needed and are also going to work for a living and do the country good.

Ive just wrote this and thought twice about posting, but I am fed up with all the questions im getting about why we want to do it, i think this site says it all, and i have told numerous family members to log in and see just how many of us there are thinking and doing the same thing.

I wish everyone of us going through this procees good luck and an happy ever after

Tracey

Good thread Tracey,
But for all its ups & downs, negatives & positives it is a great site, a way to make friends, learn & hear experiences from others, some of us have been on this site for a few years now & keep coming back or on here regular so what does that tell you.
Good luck with your application & keep posting

I personally have learnt so much from this site, I dont know what I would do without it (is that a good thing!!). I think its just human nature to ask questions and be curious. it also reassures us that other people have the same fears and we know we are not alone. Long may this site continue.

I still love this site and i think your right long may this site continue, prehaps there is only so many questions it can awnser, roll on the time when we are there and we can all awnser questions from australia , i will still be on this site once there to give any one that whats questions awnsered, wow what a great thing it will be to be giving people that, like us that are not there yet, Like i said, i think its prehaps all the questions i wanted to be awnsered already have been.

I ment no bad feeling but, after reading and getting so much info, i think prehaps im reading the bad rather than the good.

And family and friends are still giving us gbh of the earholes.

regards

Tracey

Hi Tracy,
I know what you mean the 'feel' of this forum has changed which is to be expected as it grows and the people change, there will always be a core of very helpful peeps but for others once they make the move they don't feel the need to contribute or life just gets too busy to get on here that often (which is great for them)

I used to be on often enough to welcome newbies and congratulate visas being granted and answer questions (if I thought I knew the answer) I do feel a bit guilty that I am not doing that so much

But I have been very busy at work and I have my visa now so I am not so 'obsessed' with everything visa related, and I was very obsessed. And it can be difficult to come on here when you are feeling a bit down about it all, yes even after getting the visa I have felt very low and unsure due to reasons that are in other threads and posts so I won't go into them again. So I have not wanted to read posts on here, negative or positive.

I tend to avoid or ignore the more negative or inflametory posts

There are always lots of new people with new stories to tell which is always interesting to those of us who are nosey beggars like me

take care

I think each part of the process brings different things to ask - initially it's what visa to apply for, then questions about CO's, meds and P.C's. Then thoughts turn to the move and shippers, what to take etc., before the big announcement of getting your visa. Then the panic really sets in and you think "oh god this is really it" then you worry about flights, accommodation, TFN's, medicare etc., But in the end you get here ... and post from the other side,

Ali

It's like the circle of life on here, peoples beginnings then the full circle until they are there and then new people on here starting from the beginning again.

I suppose it's down to what interest you at the time.

But I have to agree, we have learnt more on this site than anywhere else!

Good Luck all

i love this site, but.

High Tracy, good post ( is that a positive winge?LOL ) anyway I would just like to say I think this a pretty good forum with pleny of advice available to access, I'm still reletivly new so I am still finding answers to my questions (not alway from my posts, just reading others sometimes) when I get to the point of not getting answers then mabye thats the time I give answers to newbies instead.

I read a lot of threads but don't have the answer that is being saught ......
As for people pestering me for answers as to why we are emigrating, well they have already been told and I won't waste time telling them again, the subject is ignored and changed.

Paul
