happy new year all
me and my wife are wanting to move to OZ we have a 3 year old girl i,m a joiner by trade and my wife works for the N.H.S as an auxillary nurse i just wanted to know how hard it is to obtain residentancy
I recommended you contact a registered emigration agent for a initial assessment to see if you meet all the requirements.
I had to document my work experience with references from leaving school to the time Of application.
I was close to 45 so it took me a long time to track down ex work colleagues
To obtain references.
Those that had ceased trading I had to make a statuary declaration for those years
But if you have worked for the same employer since leaving school
It will be a lot easier.
Most Miration Agets are happy to chat on the phone for free for 15 minutes or soo. Thatis enough time for them to tell you enough about what is neededto prove your skills etc.
Go Matilda (Southampton) Ian Harrop & Associates (near Oxford) and Visa Bureau (not sure where they are) are regularly recommended on here.
I do believe there crying out for nurses? and it might just be easier to go on your partners qualifications as they only go on iether or. and as mentioned by matey befor, it took me best part of a year to trace all my previos (also an early 40ish carpenter and joiner)." Australian migration associates" from manchester made it all happen for us. and they will advise accordingly. give them a call, they will tell you all you need to know befor parting your hard earned. you dont need to live there, (I'm just outside from london). Hiya not sure i can top the advice Gill gave ,she has listed all the decent agents for you .We used Visa Bureau and they were great. There are lots of different visas available ,as Keith says your wife could possibly get sponsership,,however i would seek the advice of an agent as to which is the best visa you can apply for, some are restricted to areas and other things that can really make a difference once your here.As a joiner i think youd be best going for a unrestricted skilled independant visa,,hope this helps a little ,,good luck

In Perth i haven't come across auxillary nurses - I don't know if they are employed in other private places and may be called something else. I'm sure care homes for example must employ unqualified staff. You'll find that you need to apply on your skills. They still have a 2 tier system of nursing here i.e. registered and Enrolled - has your wife considered doing her training here?
