Hi Jill,
we're actually pretty sure we're now going to redland bay area. After lots of thought although we really like the look of redcliffe the commute seems to far for my husband to work in the cbd. We've got our tickets to fly out 13th of July next year and have got a holiday let for 4 weeks in redland area then hopefully rent something during that time. When are you moving to redcliffe?

Out of interest, driving from Redland Bay might be same/worse than Redcliffe. Unless you mean the Redlands rather than Redland Bay and are choosing a suburb in the Redlands that is closer to the CBD?. Redland Bay is about a 40min off peak drive from the CBD - or that's how long it took my wife this morning (Sat morn 6:45am) to visit her brother anyway.

I've heard that Grace Lutheran is pretty good. This is a private school which caters for junior and senior at separate campuses.

Hi Em,
Hopefully we will be moving in the first week of January but my hubby and daughter are going for a look around next week to suss areas out and see how easy it is to get rentals and also have a look around all the schools. I can PM you what we think of the areas and some pictures when they get back and any other good info they found out while they were there.

Hi Em,
Thats alright. My hubby flys out tomorrow and is there a week. The main concern is how easy it is to get rentals there. When we first moved to melbourne there was 10-15 people going for the same rental at a time and they would normally take the family with out a pet.
