Don't know much about Butler as a place to live (I'm in the south). The high school is a catholic school - I don't know where the nearest state school is. We have a few members who live in the northern suburbs and they'll be able to help out with details about what it's like as a place to live.

Hi, We've just come back from our validation trip. We stayed at Mindarie, pretty much across the road from Butler. It's lovely up there, we can recommend it, but I think the nearest high school is Clarkson, which I've read on here, has a not so good reputation! there is a high school at Mindarie, but I think it only takes year 11 & 12 kids, ( don't hold me to that though).
