Yes they are recognised. The large private training companies in Australia offer this as an entry level qualification that helps students in getting 1st line support or junior desktop technician jobs. It also helps prepare students for the higher level qualifications like the MCSE. I have a friend who has been working in Sydney for the last year getting work through recruitment agencies and when she first went out she only had the A+ and Network+ qualifications. Not all companies will know what the qualification is which is the same as in this country so your son would need to write a CV that details what he can do as a result of this qualification.

Cheers

Nigel
