Here's two to get you started...

To someone going on holiday: 'Are you going anywhere nice?' Erm no, we thought we'd give Iraq a go this year

To someone who has had bad news: 'You know where we are if you need us' (my translation: 'And that's the last you'll be hearing from us on that subject, then.')

No actually I'm not because I wouldn't be telling you X is dead/ill/whatever, otherwise.

LOL, I always remember my Grandad once saying to my brother ''There's no such word as can't!''
To which my brother who was about 10 at the time replied,,''well let me watch you strike a match on a jelly'' lol
I do find myself sometimes saying to my kids 'no such word as can't '' and it still makes me chuckle to myself.
