Hi I agree with you earls, I have been back 10 months now and have defo looked at it from a different level. I have just come back from London where i took my citizenship test and the place is fab. All the historical buildings etc.. i took my mum with me and even she said that she looked at it differently- probably because i was going oohhhh and ahhhh at everything.
The tube is amazing and we even went on a 50's double decker bus. I loved people watching on the tube or sitting having a glass of wine (in the aussie bar) by the embankment looking at every thing lit up.
It was snowing on the thursday morning when we left and were worried that the train would be cancelled but after taken 30 mins to get to the train station (it is only a 5 min journey normally!) the train was still going!!! Fab . the scenery on the way down was great very white!! Virtually every hill we passed had kids (and adults) sliding down and having loads of fun it was awesome to see.
So yes i have definatly appreciated the Uk during the last 10 months.

And have you noticed you do not whinge and moan as much as you did and you just seem more relaxed and laid back....I think it is because you have got that itch of your back and tried it instead of wondering what it would be like.
