Its now kicking off in se queensland and looks like its heading for the sunny coast, i'm going to drive to the top of a hill and sit in the car and watch

it looks very impressive on the BOM weather radar, i reckon its going to skirt caloundra in about 20-30 mins

I remember watching a programme that said if you're in a car you can get struck directly by lightning and it won't hurt you... so i will be ok on a exposed hill in a car? :)

We've just driven back from Surfers Paradise and followed the storm all the way to Wellington Point. The storm is right over the top of us as I type. Very bright and very load. Loving every moment of it!!

Apparently it is coming around again to Brissie for another run! We are supposed to be barbequing later! Dad is outside wiping down the table trying to get it to dry!!! LOL!

we have just come home after driving through it, was horrid. Now i cannot get foxtel, anyone else having that problem
