      Saturday Nights in Australia

I was just wondering out of all those seasoned PiO living in Australia - do you actually do something different on a Sat night than that in the Uk.

Last night we had our first BBQ of the spring! It was great.. then watched the Bill (Yawn)

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place...
If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...

      Unhappy Saturday Nights - Uk

Well, last night, after i'd taken my son (15) to A&E as he fell off his motorcross bike & it turned out he had broken his wrist! We got a McDonalds then I sat in front of the Tv, as usual! Watching the Xfactor! He played his playstation3 (online), with a little difficulty, but a broken wrist & a plaster cast wont keep him away from that thing!

Sometimes we do go out for a family meal, but to find a decent pub/restaurant we usually have to drive about half an hour!

Thats a typical 'cold' Autumn Uk evening for us....boring

Hoping to move somewhere in Australia where you dont have to drive everywhere & where we can do more outdoors & family things. We hate evenings here, we sit in living room, my eldest in his room, dont see him, unless he comes down for a drink!

oping to move somewhere in Australia where you dont have to drive everywhere & where we can do more outdoors & family things

You have to drive here more than in the uk and most of the restaurants shut at 8 or 9 , some open latewr in pomsvilles and it gets dark early so limited in evening things
